“WE need you!”
That is the desperate cry coming from the Highlanders camp as the Bulawayo giants hunt for their first victory of the season.

Bosso stars Andrew Mbeba and Kudakwashe Mahachi have made a heartfelt plea to the Amahlolanyama faithful to paint Barbourfields Stadium black and white this Sunday.
The struggling giants face a tricky Week Seven Castle Lager Premier Soccer League clash against ZPC Kariba, and the message is clear: “Come in your numbers!”
The duo made the call on Thursday, urging the Ghost to come out in full force and back the team as it hunted for its first win of the season.
Bosso, currently under a rebuilding exercise led by head coach Benjani Mwaruwari and his assistants Mkhokheli Dube and Bekithemba Ndlovu, are still searching for victory after six matches.
And here’s the shocker — despite playing exciting, breath-taking football, Bosso have been forced to settle for SIX straight draws!
“To all Highlanders fans, we urge you to come in your numbers and support us when we play ZPC Kariba. We promise that we will finally get it right this time around. We will not disappoint you,” said Mahachi, a veteran of many football battles, who is slowly discovering his form and winning the hearts of Bosso fans.
Mbeba, a versatile player and club captain, echoed Mahachi’s sentiments saying: “At Highlanders, we are one. Highlanders fans have been amazing. Come in your numbers, you can see we are moving in a good direction. The win will certainly come,” said Mbeba.
Last weekend, Mbeba was honoured for earning 150 caps for the Bulawayo football giants.
Mbeba and Mahachi will be expected to lead Bosso from the back where the former can play as either a right back or centre back.
Mahachi, who is fondly known as “Nkembe,” has featured in the past two games for Bosso against FC Platinum and Scottland, played as a left back, his boyhood position before he was turned to an attacking left winger by the late Warriors legend Adam “Adamski” Ndlovu during his tenure at Chicken Inn.
Besides Mbeba and Mahachi, for a positive result, Bosso will also bank on the services of Darlington Mukuli, Rainsome Pavari, diminutive Prince Ndlovu, goalkeeper Aron Ngwenya and striker Never Rauzhi.
Over the past years, ZPC Kariba has proved to be a bogey side for Bosso.
In other PSL fixtures scheduled for the weekend, returnees Bulawayo Chiefs will tomorrow play host to defending champions at Barbourfields.
All has not been rosy for Amakhosi Amahle, who are coming from a 1-0 defeat they suffered at the hands of former champions FC Platinum at Mandava.
Following their home triumph against PSL newboys FC Hunters, Chicken Inn will invade Gweru for a date against TelOne at Ascot tomorrow.
