Tourist arrivals rise by 11 percent

THE country’s tourism sector, which has been steadily recovering after a decade of decline, recorded an 11 percent increase in tourist arrivals last year compared to 2009 on the back of vigorous marketing campaigns and the 2010 soccer World Cup held in South Africa, a report has revealed.
