LUSAKA – Zambians vote today in a tripartite election where they are electing their president, members of Parliament and  local government representatives for the next five years.
Ten presidential candidates are contesting the election.

Veteran politician turned pollster Vernon Mwaanga has tipped incumbent president Rupiah Banda of the Movement for Multiparty Democracy to win the presidential election by between 44 and 46 percent.
Mwaanga gave Patriotic Front president Michael Sata between 34 and 36 percent and United Party for National Development’s Hakainde Hichilema between 13 and 15 percent.
