In 2023, tax revenue reached $467 million. This is a new record, as the result was 12% higher than the previous maximum (2006 – $417.5 million). Currently, the industry employs 22,000+ people! Mark Giannantonio, president of the New Jersey Casino Association, emphasized that the casinos’ success benefits their employees and communities.
