LESS than 24 hours after celebrating his birthday, 52 year old Mr Sannie Chikwasha is set to celebrate another milestone by graduating at the 17th Lupane State University (LSU) graduation ceremony at the main campus in Lupane, Matabeleland North Province, on Thursday.

Mr Chikwasha is among the 1 153 graduands that are set to graduate in a ceremony that will be presided over by President Mnangagwa.

He is graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce Special Honours in Procurement Supply Chain Management.

“Yesterday (Wednesday) was my birthday and I can’t wait to be capped by President Mnangagwa today (Thursday) as I will be receive an LSU Book Prize.

“This is my second degree after I graduated with a Bachelor in Accounting at the University of Zimbabwe in 2011,” said Mr Chikwasha.

He is also a holder of three diplomas from two tertiary institutions in Zimbabwe.

“I went back to school as soon as I started working after my parents only managed to pay for my education up to Form Four. Young people must learn to further their studies as soon as they start earning money instead of blaming their parents for failing to pay their university education,” he said.
