THE Doek & Slay all-women’s party is coming back for its second edition this year and, this time, the theme is a football jersey.
“This year’s football jersey theme is expected to bring a fresh wave of excitement and energy to the party.
“We are very excited with this theme because most ladies love football but don’t have the chance to celebrate their football clubs so this is for them to come and join the ultimate celebration of empowerment and glamour.
“As the ladies gear up to slay the game with their football jersey outfits, one thing is certain —Doek & Slay will be an event to remember,” said the organisers. The event will first make its stop at Mutare Sports Club on August 3 with Master H and Enzo Ishall providing the entertainment.
The Odyssey Kadoma event will feature Freeman and The Travellers Band on August 10.Alex Sports Club in Harare will have sungura kingpin Alick Macheso entertaining the ladies.
He will be joined on stage by Freeman and Nutty O on August 17.
Macheso will again be joined on stage with the Travellers Band on August 24 at Gweru Sports Club.
After being cancelled three times, ladies in Bulawayo are finally going to have their party when Master H and Killer T make an entrance at ZITF Main Arena on August 31.
“We had to make way for the ZITF and cancel the show in Bulawayo.
“We had moved the show to May 4 but most of the artists who had been scheduled to perform were in the UK for the Zimlink Up show,” said the organisers.
