THE Confederation of African (Caf) has confirmed the schedule for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 fixtures.

The 16 teams were confirmed following the conclusion of the group stages on Wednesday night.

Group winners and runners-up qualified automatically, while the four best-placed third-placed teams complete the 16 teams.

South Africa and Mozambique are the only Cosafa teams to qualify for the knockout stages. The Round of 16 matches will be played from Saturday to January 6, followed by the quarter-finals on January 9-to 10.

The semi-finals are scheduled for 13 January, before the tournament concludes with the final in Rabat on 18 January, when the champions will be crowned.
