COURTNEY Jongwe is in the final phase of her preparations for the Miss World grand finale which is set for Saturday at the Hyderabad International Exhibition Centre in India.
This will be the third time that India will be hosting the prestigious pageant.
The country held the pageant in 1996 and 2024 Over the past month, contestants engaged in rigorous challenges, including sports challenge, talent showcase, head-to-head challenges and a model competition.
Courtney has made it to the top 20 of the multimedia challenge, she has also made it to the top 20 of Miss World 2025 3rd Hot Picks.
Her management team told Zimpapers Entertainment Hub that Courtney was ready for the grand finale.
“Courtney cannot answer questions at the moment because she has been busy preparing for the finals on Saturday but one thing for sure is that she is all set to represent her country,” said a member of her management team.
In a social media post, Courtney said she has created memories that will last for a while in her modeling career.
“Days may pass but memories never fade, they linger like echoes in the heart, reminding us of laughter shared and moments cherished.
“I am thankful for the memories that were created today, looking back at my journey at Miss World will forever be my most precious moments,” she said.

“This is how ‘The Sanctuary Project’ was born.

“Our mission is to create therapeutic communities that provide holistic support for mental well-being. We are dedicated to combating the rising tide of suicide, drug and substance abuse, depression, and anxiety among youth and adolescents.
“Through our initiatives, we aim to empower individuals, offering them the tools and resources they need to thrive.”
While the Miss World 2025 pageant is celebrating beauty, it is also serving as a powerful global platform to showcase the cultural richness and progressive vision of Telangana.
As part of the pre-finale itinerary, contestants from over 100 countries embarked on curated tours across the Indian state, immersing themselves in its vibrant history, artistry, and community spirit.
They visited iconic heritage sites such as the majestic Charminar, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ramappa Temple, and the famed Pochampally weaving villages, renowned for their intricate Ikat patterns.
The red carpet event begins at 5:30 pm on Saturday.
