WILL Emmanuel Jalai sign to remain at Dynamos or will he walk away from the Glamour Boys?
The club captain has become one of the most wanted players in the country after a standout season and DeMbare have moved quickly, tabling a fresh offer in a desperate bid to keep their prized asset ahead of the 2026 campaign.
The diminutive fullback has climbed into elite company after making the Soccer Stars finalists and his form has fuelled strong links with champions Scottland.
Dynamos are alert to the danger.
They believe losing Jalai now would rip the heart out of a squad that only just steadied itself during a bruising 2025 season.
“We have managed to tie down most of our players,” Dynamos executive committee member responsible for marketing, David Chikomo, said.
“We know that Jalai is the most wanted player in the league at the moment and I can tell you we have engaged him on that.
“We offered him a new contract and right now he is tied up with the national team and we expect him to commit after the AFCON tournament.”
Jalai stood out in a season where quality was thin on DeMbare’s books and his exit would be a heavy blow for the ailing giants.
Dynamos are also bracing for the possible loss of Ghanaian defender Issaka Mahommad to Scottland, a scenario that would further stretch an already fragile back line.
The club have already absorbed a major setback with the departure of head coach Kelvin Kaindu to ambitious newcomers Hardrock.

“Your vision on the pitch, your relentless commitment to developing young talent, and the pride you instilled in every player will forever be part of our history.

Under Kaindu, Dynamos went 16 matches unbeaten, scoring 17 goals and conceding five across league and cup competitions.
