“Lately, we have seen the increase in the number of Zimbabweans that are performing at different international platforms across the world.
“This is a very positive development that confirms that Zimbabwean art is indeed on demand. It says that Zimbabwean music is not only for local consumption but it’s also music that is appealing to a broader market,” said Annatoria.
She said several Zimbabwean artists have achieved international recognition and have been featured on international platforms.
Tafara Nyatsanza, an actor, landed a role in the Hollywood film “Beast,” starring Idris Elba.
“This is definitely a positive development for our artists.Im going to travel to so many nations just showing the world that Zimbabwe ine talent. It’s really nice to get this exposure.
“This is my first time being on tour with such a big artist. My role model has me featured in his new album. Can you believe it?”
Travis Greene announced that he plans to open schools or foundations that teach artists and empower them before they get exploited. Annatoria expressed her gratitude saying:
“We get that exposure to be before so many people and to represent such a beautiful country, l think it’s amazing that you’ve mentioned that project l think. It’ll be great to allow musicians to find a way to do it right, you know so many people get to the top with the wrong methods and so it’d be good to like bring young people together and actually help them.
“This curates the right plans and strategies, the right grounding, trains them in humility, shows them what it looks like, to actually maintain it when you’re at the top, you know what I mean.
“l’m not at the top but I’m on the mountains, you know I want to glorify God so I’m really grateful.“I’m excited. I’m on his album.”
