AS A MATTER OF FACT

LAST week, we ran a story headlined ‘Should ZIFA CEO resign?’ in the wake of the confusion which greeted the PSL clubs’ decision to freeze relegation.

The move was rejected by ZIFA.

We pointed out in our story that ZIFA CEO Yvonne Manwa attended the PSL meeting and should have advised the league accordingly that their move was a violation of the association’s rules and regulations.

It has come to our attention that while Manwa attended the PSL strategic planning workshop to map the future of the league for the next four years, she did not attend the EGM where the decision to freeze relegation was made.

We sincerely apologise to her for our mistake. – Editor
