ZANU-PF yesterday dismissed Marondera East legislator Mrs Tracy Mutinhiri from the party with immediate effect following recommendations by its national disciplinary committee.
She could also lose her position in Government where she is Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Services.
Mrs Mutinhiri was found guilty of behaviour inconsistent with the party’s principles.
The Politburo met yesterday and resolved to dismiss the former Women’s League national political commissar.

RENOWNED Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe pastor and evangelist Phanuel Dzangare Chiweshe has died.
He was 65.
Evangelist Chiweshe, who had served in the AFM Ministry for 23 years, succumbed to a kidney failure on Tuesday evening while on his way to Parirenyatwa Hospital.
He was the resident pastor of AFM Mt Camel Assembly in Unit M, Chitungwiza.
