BULAWAYO is about to shake, rattle, and roll this weekend as red-hot rhumba warriors Insimbi ZeZhwane headline an all-star, all-local music extravaganza at The Hub this Saturday.

The much-hyped bash, dubbed “Aykhale Indaz’!”, is a bold celebration of Mzansi-inspired Bulawayo rhythm and a powerful shout-out to local talent that often gets sidelined.

Set to explode from 2PM, the family-friendly outdoor vibe will allow fans to groove in style with cooler boxes allowed (for a small fee). Whether you’re bringing your braai, your crew, or your dancing shoes, this is the gig to catch!

Sharing the stage with Insimbi ZeZhwane, who continue to make noise across borders, are local favourites Jah Practice, Bovas, King Practice, and King Kandy. These acts are ready to light up the stage with a fiery mix of rhumba, dancehall and home-grown flair.

Speaking to Zimpapers Arts and Entertainment Hub, Desire, manager of The Hub, said the event is aimed at pushing Bulawayo’s musical power to the front of the queue.

“We’re backing our own. This is about local artistes getting the platform they deserve. Many of them perform here regularly, and this show is their time to shine. People will be blown away by what Bulawayo has to offer,” said Desire.

Fans can expect a non-stop music marathon showcasing voices, vibes, and verses.

With Insimbi ZeZhwane leading the charge, you better believe the stage will shake and the speakers will speak loud. It’s local. It’s loud. It’s love.

See you there, and bring the vibe!
