THE favourite time of the year for nightlife lovers has arrived, with musicians Baba Harare, Mzoe7 and Abigail Mabuza set to usher in the summer party season in Bulawayo.
The trio will headline the Summer Slash show at a local leisure spot on Friday, with the event being hosted by MR Jaiva and MC Freddy K.
The night promises a vibrant mix of house, disco and jiti, giving revellers an opportunity to dance the night away as the summer entertainment calendar gets into full swing.
Baba Harare is expected to continue his purple patch with his trending track “Sisi Viola” enjoying a strong reception, particularly for its catchy “Tsa Tsa Tsa” trademark chant.
Mzoe7, who continues to cement his position as one of Bulawayo’s exciting performers, is also expected to bring his trademark high-energy performance to the stage.
Not to be outshone will be singer and dancer Abigail Mabuza, who has steadily carved out a name for herself within the Matabeleland entertainment scene.
Keeping the party going before, between and after the headline performances will be local wheel spinners DJ Riggz, DJ SKB, DJ Ayaxx, DJ Flexxy and DJ Keitho.
DJ Keitho said the show was only the beginning, with Palace Entertainment planning a series of events throughout the summer season.
