Bulawayo-based healer, coach, and speaker Barbara Kamba-Nyathi, popularly known as Barbs, is set to share her journey of resilience and empowerment at “Stringed Moments” on Friday at the Alliance Française.

The ‘Stringed Moments’ project reflects her mission to inspire healing and personal growth.
“At this event, I’ll address topics like self-identity and legacy, how we want to be remembered,” Barbs said.

The evening promises to be an interactive and uplifting experience, providing participants with insights into healing, empowerment, and living boldly. The event is free to attend and will feature wine, creating a warm and inviting environment for like-minded individuals to connect and reflect.

Barbs’ work is inspired by her personal battles with challenges such as cervical cancer, endometriosis, and abuse, experiences that have shaped her mission to help others redefine and rebuild their identity on their own terms.

Through her wellness platform, Bold Dialogue, founded in 2019, Barbs works with women across Africa, offering mentorship, guidance, and tools to help them transcend trauma and pursue lives aligned with their passions and dreams.
“I discovered my passion for speaking in front of crowds back in primary school. I trained as a psychotherapist and have been committed to being a professional speaker, healer, and coach since 2004.
“I’ve also spoken on issues such as anger, rejection, betrayal, heartbreak, and anxiety.”
