TINEWIMBO Dupute, Miss Earth Zimbabwe 2025, says she is ready to represent her country in the best way possible after she arrived in the Philippines to compete in the prestigious Miss Earth pageant.
Dupute is not only a beauty queen but also a passionate advocate for environmental sustainability.
Dupute, an Actuarial Science graduate, focuses her platform on pressing environmental issues such as deforestation, water scarcity, and pollution.
Her dedication to environmental causes is evident in her advocacy for responsible waste management, noting the need for reducing, reusing, and recycling to protect communities and natural ecosystems.
The 24-year-old shared her hopes of promoting an image of a green, dynamic, and courageous Zimbabwe on the international stage.
She expressed her commitment to using the Miss Earth platform to advocate for environmental protection and inspire sustainable lifestyles.
“I am excited to represent Zimbabwe on the international stage and share my passion for environmental sustainability. I hope to inspire collective action and promote innovative solutions to environmental challenges.
“As I depart for Miss Earth in the Philippines, I no longer walk as just Tinewimbo, I walk as Zimbabwe.
“I carry with me the strength of a nation that rises with resilience, stands with grace, and believes in the power of purpose. In every step, I carry the heartbeat of home , its hope, its people, its unshakable spirit.
“This journey is not mine alone. By God’s grace, I’ve been called to represent a land rich in beauty, strength and voice,” she said.
The Miss Earth pageant, founded in 2001, promotes environmental awareness and advocacy, encouraging participants to engage in activities like the “5Rs”: Re-think, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Respect.
Dupute’s platform aligns with the pageant’s mission, making her a strong contender for the title.

The “Silver Anniversary Edition” of the Miss Earth pageant will be held at the Okada Manila, in Parañaque, Metro Manila, the Philippines, on November 5.
Miss Earth is one of the world’s four largest beauty pageants and focuses on promoting environmental awareness.
This year’s edition will feature nearly 90 contestants from around the globe.
The current Miss Earth titleholder is Jessica Lane from Australia. Lane was crowned on November 9, 2024, in Parañaque, Philippines, and was the first Australian to win the title.
