BEEF IN THE CITY! Briza guns for Kwela in explosive diss track

PICTURE this. A lone Viking marching into battle against a whole army!

That’s the energy Briza (real name Arnold Ngwenya) is bringing in his all-out new single “Liyakwelana Initiative,” a direct shot at Bulawayo’s Kwela Initiative, a movement known for pushing local Hip-Hop talent.

Produced by Klyve Beats and Will, the track has the streets in a relentless chokehold. The diss is brutal, the timing is curious, and the shade is real.

In a twist that has the city talking, most of the rappers Briza is calling out are artists he has previously shared the stage with at Hip Hop Power Sessions held at Red Café.

Known for tracks like “Rover,” “For Me,” and the street anthem “Insimbi Zekasi,” Briza has now taken a villainous turn that has the game on edge.

Is this diss track really beef or just free promo for Kwela’s “Sound of the City” album showcase set for July 5? The crew is dropping weekly cyphers and Briza’s thunder-bomb may just be stirring the pot ahead of the main course.

Whether it’s personal or tactical, Briza has thrown the cat among the pigeons.

The big question now: Who made Briza mad?
