BEKITHEMBA Ndlovu has emerged as a strong candidate for the Highlanders second assistant coach position after he was spotted at the club offices as the team prepared to depart for their Botswana pre-season camp on Wednesday morning.
The former Highlanders defender was seen at the club premises at the time the squad was preparing to leave the country, fuelling speculation that he could be set to join the technical team ahead of the new season.
Highlanders are set for a six-day training camp in Botswana as part of their preparations for the upcoming Castle Lager Premiership campaign.
While the club has not officially confirmed changes to the technical bench, Ndlovu’s presence has intensified talk that he could be working alongside head coach Benjani Mwaruwari and first assistant coach Mkhokheli Dube.
