COMEDIAN Adopted Son has paid tribute to his loyal supporters after reaching another career milestone.
He says their encouragement turned what had been a difficult journey into one that felt much easier.
The entertainer, whose real name is Ashley Karabo, took to social media to reflect on his rise in the entertainment industry, admitting that success did not come easily.
“It has not been easy,” he said, acknowledging the obstacles he encountered on his journey.
“Your support made it seem effortless.
“To all my loyal fans, I thank you for your unwavering support. You are indeed family.
“Wherever you are reading this from, please know that Ado loves and appreciates you, and may the Lord bless you.”
The heartfelt message was warmly received by fans, many of whom praised the comedian for remaining grounded despite his growing popularity.
Harare-based fan Tafadzwa Chikowore said Adopted Son’s appreciation of his supporters is one of the reasons people continue to rally behind him.
“His message shows that he has not forgotten the people who have supported him from day one. That humility is rare, and it makes us proud to support him,” she said.
Another fan, Prince Ncube from Bulawayo, said the comedian’s success has been inspiring to watch.
“We have watched him grow from making simple comedy skits to becoming one of Zimbabwe’s biggest content creators.
“He deserves every milestone, and we will continue supporting him,” he said.
Originally from Masvingo, the 21-year-old content creator has become one of Zimbabwe’s fastest-rising digital entertainers.
His breakthrough came after collaborating with Madam Boss, which helped him reach a wider audience with his relatable and humorous content.
