BREAKING: PHD church leader Walter Magaya arrested on rape and fraud charges

WALTER MAGAYA , founder of the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries, was arrested early today by a police crack team.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed the arrest is in connection with multiple reports of rape and fraud.

According to a terse official statement, Magaya was taken into custody in a dawn operation.

“The Zimbabwe Republic Police confirms the arrest of Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) church leader Walter Magaya in connection with several reports of rape and fraud,” ZRP spokesperson Commission Paul Nyathi announced in a statement.

“The suspect was arrested early today by a police crack team.”
