Breaking: Zimbabwe’s Colonel Baloyi-Chiwenga joins 2025 Miss Universe jury

Colonel Miniyothabo Baloyi Chiwenga, the national chairperson of the Miss Universe Zimbabwe Organisation, has been selected as one of the official judges for this year’s Miss Universe pageant taking place in Thailand.

The appointment cements Zimbabwe’s presence on the global pageantry stage.

The announcement, made in Bangkok ahead of the grand finale on Saturday, has generated excitement both locally and internationally.

Colonel Baloyi-Chiwenga will join an elite panel of global industry experts, fashion executives, former beauty queens, and cultural ambassadors tasked with selecting the next Miss Universe from a competitive field of over 80 contestants.

Her appointment is being celebrated as a testament to her leadership, professionalism, and influence in the pageant industry.
