Now, the CAPS United legend needs a far bigger save, keeping Yadah Stars in the Premier Soccer League. Since replacing Maxwell Takaendesa Jongwe in October, Msiska’s “Miracle Boys” have failed to win enough games.
With three matches left, they’re second from bottom on 31 points and staring at the drop.
They face Herentals at Rufaro on Saturday, Dynamos at the same venue, and Simba Bhora away.
“Anything can happen in football and we are not throwing in the towel as yet,” said Msiska.
“Yes, we have tough games ahead but the boys are confident. We’re conditioning them for the fight.”
Yadah need all three wins to survive, with about 38 points usually enough to stay up.
The relegation trap is wide open.
Highlanders, Chicken Inn, Bikita Minerals, Triangle, and Manica Diamonds are all sweating.
Dynamos sit third from bottom with 34 points and can’t afford more slip ups. Their next test?
