A LATE-NIGHT bus trip to Bulawayo ended in screams, flying luggage and chaos after a packed coach veered off the Harare-Bulawayo Road and toppled onto its side at Kuwadzana Turn-Off, popularly known as Pamagetsi.
The packed bus, carrying 55 passengers, was on its way to the City of Kings on 6 November, when disaster struck.
National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the accident.
“The ZRP confirms a road traffic accident that occurred on 06/11/25 at Kuwadzana Turn-Off (Pamagetsi) along the Harare-Bulawayo Road. A bus carrying 55 passengers, heading to Bulawayo, veered off the road and fell on its left side. Six passengers were injured and transported to Parirenyatwa Hospital.
