BULAWAYO is playing host to the Zimbabwe National Boxing Classic at a city centre hotel on Saturday afternoon.
The event is sponsored former middleweight champion Modicai Donga.
He has his Big Fish Boxing Promotions which he has declared will change the face of boxing in Bulawayo and Zimbabwe.
“We starting at grassroot levels and we want to see the development of young talent. Boxers want more activities to get sharper, it’s the first of many to follow,” said Donga on Friday.
Weigh in started at 9AM with boxers from all over the country in attendance.
