GOSPEL musician, Dudu Angeline, has dropped a song, ‘‘Testimony’’, which she says is a true reflection of how God has shaped her life.
Veteran producer, Macdonald ‘‘Macdee’’ Chidavaenzi, recorded the song. The Canada-based artist first had her breakthrough after collaborating with Melissa Makwasha on a song called ‘‘Haandisiye Ndiri Ndega’’ in 2022.
She has not looked back.
She hosted Melissa Makwasha and Takesure Zamar at a concert in 2023 in Edmonton, Canada. “The new testimony has a video on YouTube and is set to get everyone on their feet every time it’s played,” said Dudu. “Honestly, this song was inspired by the testimonies that I’ve experienced in my life.
“I actually wrote this song about two years ago and I have been sitting on it.
“I had it ready but I was just waiting for the right time to release it. I just believe that every song has a season and a time that is appropriate for it to be released.
“I felt in my spirit that this was the right time for me to release this song. There are so many things that God has done in my life and I felt it was the right time for me to testify, to tell the world.” Dudu added: “We just concentrate and pay attention more to the problems we are facing, the mountains that are before us, (and) the battles that we are fighting.
“We forget to count our blessings one by one, so I decided that, despite all that is happening in my life, I will count my blessings.
“The fact that He wakes me up every morning, the fact that He put food on my table, the fact that I am breathing.
“So that is basically the inspiration of this song.”
