MHONDORO Ngezi-based chanter, Ashly Khumalo, also known as Black Warrior, is on top of the world after another successful collaboration with Mr Candy.
The two collaborated on the single titled ‘Musiye Aende’ and Black Warrior is happy with the project.
“I first composed ‘Musiye Aende’ as a solo project but as I went deeper into the song I realised it needed some blending to make the message stronger.
“That’s when I thought of Mr Candy.
“I contacted his camp, sent the draft and, luckily, they connected with it instantly. Without wasting time, we hit the studio and recorded the song together,” said Black Warrior.
Black Warrior said they were working on the visuals to accompany the song.
“The video is still being arranged, and we’ll be announcing soon when and how it will be released.
“’Musiye Aende’ is a song that speaks about love and relationships. It reminds us that no one should ever force someone to love you or get attention if their heart is no longer there.
“Sometimes, the best thing you can do is let that person go,” he said.
Black Warrior is not new to collaborations.
He made headlines when he teamed up with Freeman.
Mr Candy has made quite a number of hit collaborations with some big names on the music industry like Holy Ten and Michael Mags.
