Gwanzura Stadium in Harare comes alive today as the 2025 Chibuku Road to Fame national finals take centre stage, celebrating 25 years of Zimbabwe’s biggest grassroots music talent search.
Running under the theme “25 Years of Discovering Talent”, this year’s edition promises to be a vibrant showcase of the country’s evolving sound and cultural diversity, with performances from some of Zimbabwe’s most promising emerging bands.

The finalists set to battle it out for top honours include Chitima Band (Harare), DNA Band (Mashonaland Central), Mnenga Band (Manicaland), Afro Pulse (Masvingo), Simuniziva (Matabeleland North), Core Vibes (Midlands), All in One (Mashonaland West), Dab Band (Bulawayo), Bolamba Culture Birds (Matabeleland South), and Jungle Foxes (Mashonaland East).

Over the past two and a half decades, Chibuku Road to Fame, organised by Delta Beverages in partnership with the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe, has evolved into a powerful launchpad for up-and-coming musicians. The competition has helped uncover and nurture talent from every corner of the country, from Beitbridge to Victoria Falls, Plumtree to Mutare, cementing its legacy as a true national stage.
