Bulawayo Polytechnic establishes International Office to drive globalization of higher education

BULAWAYO Polytechnic has established an international office in line with Government’s thrust to globalise Higher Education for the country to achieve global competitiveness and foster cultural exchange.

This will enable the development of graduates who are equipped to navigate the complexities of an interconnected world.

Bulawayo Polytechnic principal Mrs Chiedza Masanganise, speaking at the college’s 95th graduation ceremony on Thursday, said the establishment of the international office has seen the college partnering with various colleges in the region.

She said the enhanced cooperation is expected to promote the study in Zimbabwe concept.

Moving forward, the Internationalisation Office is focused on expanding partnerships in Zambia, Botswana and Kenya, including a significant initiative with the Botswana Education Journal. These efforts underscore our commitment to promoting academic excellence, global competitiveness, and the
