Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service (ZPCS) Commissioner-General, Dr Moses Chihobvu, has been appointed as a board member of the International Corrections and Prisons Association (ICPA).
The ICPA is a leading global organisation dedicated to advancing professional correctional practices.
Established in 1998, the association aims to foster safer, more human, and effective correctional systems through knowledge exchange, innovation promotion, and the cultivation of international networks among correctional professionals.
In a statement, Dr Chihobvu expressed his gratitude, noting, “This nomination is not only a personal honor, but also a reminder of the collective responsibility we share as global correctional leaders to learn from one another, support one another, and strengthen the profession together.”
In 2024, Commissioner-General received the prestigious Head of Service award at the ICPA Correctional Excellence Awards in Singapore.
