THE Confederation of Zimbabwe Retailers (CZR) has appointed Cde Moses Chihuri as its new national chairman for a two-year tenure.
In a statement, the CZR president, board, executive and management congratulated Cde Chihuri on his appointment and expressed confidence in his leadership.
“The Confederation of Zimbabwe Retailers president, board, executive and management wishes to extend its heartfelt congratulations to Cde Moses Chihuri on his appointment as national chairman of the Confederation of Zimbabwe Retailers for a two-year tenure,” read the statement.
The retail body said it looked forward to Cde Chihuri’s contribution towards advancing the interests of the sector.
“We wish you success and strength as you assume this important responsibility. We look forward to your leadership, commitment and contribution towards advancing the interests of the retail and wholesale sector,” said CZR.
The Confederation of Zimbabwe Retailers is the apex body representing the retail and wholesale sector in Zimbabwe and advocates for a conducive business environment, formalisation of trade and consumer protection.
