COURTNEY FLIES THE FLAG! Zim beauty queen gears up to conquer Miss World!

HYDERABAD, INDIA — She’s got the brains, the beauty, and the boldness, now Zimbabwe’s golden girl Courtney Jongwe is ready to shine on the world’s biggest stage!

All roads lead to the Hyderabad International Exhibition Centre this Saturday for the Miss World 2025 grand finale, and our very own Courtney is poised to make Zimbabweans proud as she competes for the coveted crown!

Over the past month, the globe’s most dazzling divas, over 100 from every corner of the world, have battled it out in everything from sports and talent, to top model and head-to-head challenges. But it’s Courtney who’s turned heads and melted hearts, already landing in the Top 20 of the Multimedia Challenge.

Her management says she’s laser-focused, locked in, and ready for her big moment.
“She’s deep in preparations and can’t take interviews right now,” said a team rep. “But trust us — she’s going in confident, composed, and proudly Zimbabwean!”

In a touching post online, Courtney shared her emotions ahead of the big night:
“Days may pass, but memories never fade… My Miss World journey will forever be among my most precious moments.”

It’s a journey that’s seen her walk the runway and walk through history, quite literally. From the majestic Charminar to the sacred Ramappa Temple, and the iconic Pochampally weaving villages, Courtney and her fellow queens immersed themselves in

India’s rich cultural heritage during boot camp.

This is the third time India hosts Miss World, and Telangana is pulling out all the stops for a glittering showcase of beauty and brains.

The red carpet rolls out at 5:30pm (CAT 9:30pm) this Saturday and all eyes will be on our homegrown queen.

Will the crown come home? Whether or not she snatches the title, one thing’s for sure:
