Dawn Thandeka King to grace Imiklomela kaDakamela

South African thespian Dawn Thandeka King has confirmed that she will be part of this year’s Imiklomela kaDakamela Cultural Festival, set to take place at Chief Dakamela’s homestead in Nkayi, Matabeleland North, from April 3 to 6.

A powerful voice on screen and beyond, King, originally from Eshowe, KwaZulu-Natal, is expected to bring star power, inspiration, and a sense of cultural pride to the Nkayi community.

 

Dawn Thandeka King is a celebrated multi-award-winning actress, musician, motivational speaker, and influencer, widely recognised for her commanding performance as Mkabayi in the epic series Shaka iLembe. She has also featured in popular telenovelas such as Uzalo and Lockdown, among others.
