DEADLY JEALOUSY: Man killed for talking to woman at tuckshop!

A 34-YEAR-OLD man allegedly hacked a fellow villager to death for allegedly talking to a female tuck-shop attendant.
Midlands Provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko, confirmed the incident that occurred at Bhiri Business Centre in Chirumanzu, on Wednesday around 11 pm. The victim, Chamunowa Madzimure (35) of Mahapa Village under Chief Hama, was found lying in a pool of blood.

“The police have arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with the brutal murder of a fellow villager. The incident occurred on October 29 at about 11pm at Bhiri Business Centre,” Insp Mahoko said.
The suspect, Rifias Mandiko of Chakawa Village, reportedly went to the tuck-shop carrying an axe. Upon arrival, he allegedly confronted Madzimure over the conversation with the shop attendant. The situation quickly escalated into violence.

“The shop attendant rushed to inform the Village Head, Munyaradzi Zishiri, who lives nearby. When they returned, they found the deceased lying in a pool of blood,” Insp Mahoko said.

Police reacted swiftly and arrested Mandiko at his residence. During the scene inspection, two deep cuts were discovered on the victim’s head.
