DENVER Mukamba says his dream is to play for the Warriors again.

The maverick forward was the hero for the Glamour Boys in their 3-2 win over Scottland at Rufaro on Saturday.

Mukamba revealed that he is pushing himself to get a Warriors call-up.

“It remains my dream to play for the Warriors again, and I know I have to keep on playing well to earn that call. I believe it is very possible,” said Mukamba.

“I want to thank Dynamos fans for the support that has been driving us and also coach Kaindu who has been showing me love.

“We are all desperate as Dynamos players to ensure that this team will survive at the end of the season.”

The appointment of Kelvin Kaindu has turned out to be exactly what the doctor ordered as the club have now registered six wins in a row in all competitions.

And, Kaindu’s tactical brilliance has been largely overshadowed by Mukamba, who has been receiving the bigger share of praise from a huge section of DeMbare fans. DeMbare’s miraculous turnaround has coincided with Mukamba’s return.

Mukamba also scored the winner when they floored Scottland, a goal that was rich in quality and precision.

The ball bounced off a Scottland defender into the path of Mukamba, who was unmarked at the edge of the box, and his clinical volley with his weaker foot gave ‘keeper Kelvin Shangiwa no chance.

The victory took Dynamos to 28 points.

Scottland missed out the chance to occupy the pole position after leaders, Simba Bhora, were held by Green Fuel to a goalless draw in Chisumbanje.

Mukamba grabbed all the headlines in a match that featured Knowledge Musona and Khama Billiat.

DYNAMOS players are set to get US$300 each for their spirited 3-2 win against Scottland at Rufaro on Saturday.

The Glamour Boys have been getting a winning bonus of $100 in their last five wins prior to their memorable victory against Scottland.

Dynamos leadership had not promised the players anything special before this match but the promise was made after the game and one of the club’s senior players confirmed this to this publication.

DeMbare fans believe the Glamour Boys will not be swept away by relegation waters.

They appear to have found the spark that they desperately needed in the first round of the Castle Lager Premiership where they recorded two wins.

  1. For a PSl side $100 should be thank you for coming hapana zvamaita after a loss or a disappointing draw. $300 is not bad but more like a normal bonus for a routine or an ordinary win. Game rakadayi rinoda nothing short of $500. I think this is where ZIFA and PSL must come in for gamesake.
