BULAWAYO-based DJ and events organiser Ashton Gumbo, popularly known as DJ Ash T, is set to give fans a taste of his music production journey when he hosts a listening session for his forthcoming Ngomane EP tonight.
The listening session, scheduled for October 21, comes ahead of the EP’s official release on October 23, offering audiences an opportunity to experience a more personal side of the artiste, who is widely known for his work through Bulawayo Exclusive Events and for organising the popular Garden of House events.
Known for bringing house music lovers together through his events, DJ Ash T is now stepping further into music production with a project that draws from his identity, heritage and journey in the genre.
The EP’s title, Ngomane, holds personal significance for the DJ, as it is his totem and a reflection of his roots.
“Ngomane is my totem, and to me, it represents my identity, my roots, and who I am,” he said.
The project marks another step in his musical journey, allowing him to express himself beyond the decks and share a more personal connection with listeners.
