Dj Maranatha, renowned for bringing communities together through music, has released a vibrant song and music video to commemorate the upcoming opening of Nyabane Clinic in Matabeleland South, Bulilima District.

The Afro Pop hit, “Emtholwampilo”, thanks the community for their teamwork in making the project a success. He expressed gratitude to Hardy, leader of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day for donating a complete solar system setup and acknowledged the contributions of diaspora communities mostly from South Africa and Botswana.

Mrs Sithabile Mlotshwa, the wife of the late ward 1 councillor Cde Tony Mlotshwa, could be seen showcasing the donations of staff cottages and a maternity ward

“My husband requested for this donation from the Church of Jesus of Latter-Day a long time back, after his passing, I kept on making a follow up so I fulfil my husband’s dream.” Said Mrs Mlotshwa

The music video features real event scenes from the clinic’s groundbreaking to its completion, showcasing the journey in a realistic and impactful manner.

Nyabane Clinic is set to be officially opened on 19 December 2025, with Vice President Kembo Mohadi expected as the guest of honour. Other notable attendees include Deputy Minister of ICT and Bulilima Legislator Hon Dingumuzi Phuti. A celebration party is also planned for 27 December 2025 which will be hosted by individuals from the diaspora.

“I extend my thanks to the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Hon Nqobizitha Mangaliso Ndhlovu for his donation of the roof trusses. I would like to thank other external contributors the likes of our neighbours from Tshankwa, Diba and the village head Mahlamvana across Tshankwa river.” Said Dj Maranatha.

Dj Maranatha’s style of mobilizing communities through music is gaining recognition in the region. He previously made waves with his song “Salulandela,” in 2022 which celebrated the completion of a dam wall (Nunu Dam) that had remained broken for over a decade. His approach has inspired others, such as the Kalanga Gospel Choir, who released a celebratory gospel hit for the opening of Ngwanyana Clinic which was opened in November this year.
