Doek and Slay Tickets Sell Out in Record Time

Online Reporter

The popular event, Doek and Slay, is making headlines after a record-breaking sale of tickets.

The early bird tickets, released k. Friday under a Black Friday theme, sold out in less than three hours, catching organisers off guard.

“We appreciate the overwhelming support from our patrons across the country, particularly in Harare,” said management in a statement.

“We did not anticipate that Doek and Slay would draw stadium-level numbers.”

The event’s popularity has prompted organisers to reassure patrons that they are working on increasing ticket availability online and securing a bigger venue to expand capacity.

A Phase 1 ticket sale is scheduled for November 10 at accredited selling points.

“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and encourage all those who missed the sale to look out for the upcoming ticket sale,” management said.

“The early bird catches the fattest worm!”
