Dr Joe Guti takes over as ZAOGA Archbishop

ZAOGA Forward in Faith Ministries has ushered in a new era of leadership following the consecration of Dr Joseph Joe Guti as the new Archbishop of the Zimbabwe Assemblies of God Africa (ZAOGA), succeeding the church’s founder, Dr Ezekiel Guti, who died in 2023.

He was appointed to the office of Archbishop, having previously served as the church’s Presiding Bishop.

The colourful ceremony was held at the Africa Multination for Christ College (AMFIC) in Harare on Sunday and was presided over by senior Archbishop Professor Eunor Guti alongside two Archbishops from South Africa and Mozambique.

Also elevated was the church’s Secretary General, Apostle Mishael Nyambo, who was promoted to the rank of Bishop.

The event was held on the sidelines of the ongoing Deeper Life Conference, which is being attended by pastors from all 177 ZAOGA churches across the six continents. – ZBC News
