SUSPECTED drug dealer, Talent Munyaka, who’s popularly known in her circles as Mai Pee, arrived at court wearing only her underwear to face fresh charges of drug possession.

She was then given with a gown, which she used to wrap around her waist, as she entered the court.

She appeared before magistrate Lazini Ncube and claimed the police of had assaulted her and ripped off her skirt, leaving her half-naked.

Magistrate Ncube ordered the State to investigate the allegations against the police.

In her latest brush with the law, the court heard that on Friday, police officers from CID Drugs received a tip off that Munyaka was back on the streets selling cocaine.

Acting on the tip-off, the police lured Munyaka after one of them posed as a buyer.

They agreed to meet at a service station at the corner of Seventh Street and Samora Macheal avenue.

She disembarked from a Silver Honda fit intending to make a transaction with one of the detectives who was posing as a buyer.

The other detectives pounced on her.

They recovered two sachets of cocaine that she was holding and arrested her.

The cocaine weighed 2 grams and has an estimated street value of US$100.

Munyaka was remanded in custody to May 16 and was advised to approach the High Court for bail considerations.

Last week Munyaka was dragged to court after the police found her in possession of 13 grams of cocaine with a street value of US$700.

She was released on US$50 bail in that case.

Vimbiso Rundare appeared for the State.
