Draw After Draw!

IT has been three draws, no win, three goals for Highlanders!
Bosso head coach Benjani Mwaruwari, who says the club is on a rebuilding exercise has expressed concern after his side registered another draw on Wednesday when they played a nil-all draw against visiting MWOS in a Week Three Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) tie played at Barbourfields Stadium.

In their season’s opener the Bulawayo football giants played a one-all draw against Bulawayo Chiefs before posting another stalemate against their old time nemesis Dynamos in a tie that ended 2-2 at Rufaro Stadium.

Bosso have picked just three points from a possible nine.
Speaking after the game, Mwaruwari said they have become draw specialists after dropping points again.

“It’s now three games, three draws. We have become draw specialists. If we have three points from three matches, it’s like two games lost. We need to get better,” said Mwaruwari, a former Warriors captain and Manchester City striker.

However, the Bosso gaffer picked some positives from the goalless draw against MWOS saying: “One thing I’m happy with is this is our first clean sheet. It is a process, as I see it, but it’s also unfortunate, as a coach, if you don’t get the results you want.”

In their next league match, Highlanders are set to lock horns against buoyant Simba Bhora at Wadzanayi Stadium.

Simba Bhora, who are the 2024 PSL champions are coming from a 1-0 triumph that they posted against TelOne on Wednesday.

FC Platinum will play host to TelOne at Mandava Stadium while newboys Agama take on Dynamos.
Ngoni Stadium will be the venue for the game between MWOS and Bulawayo Chiefs.

Bruised Chicken Inn, who are coming from a one-nil loss they suffered at the hands of Hardrock, have a date against Ngezi Platinum Stars at Barbourfields Stadium.

Pacesetters CAPS United will meet Kelvin Kaindu’s Hardrock while Herentals College do duty against Triangle at Rufaro Stadium.
