A WOMAN was found dead under suspicious and disturbing circumstances near the new shopping COMPLEX in Nkulumane 10 suburb.
Heavy rains did not stop crowds from gathering as word spread that a dreadlocked woman, identity still unknown, had been discovered lying lifeless and naked, on Monday. Witnesses described a shocking and grim picture.
“She was wearing a branded overall but it had been pulled down to her knees. There were no undergarments. We also saw blood coming from her nose,” said one of the residents who arrived early at the scene.
The mystery deepened as some locals suggested the woman might be from nearby Nketa 9, though no one has officially identified her.
Police had not released a statement at the time of writing, but investigations are underway to establish what happened to the woman and whether foul play is involved.
Authorities are expected to provide more details as the probe continues.
