RENOWNED educationist and author Dr Msongelwa has once again proven his unwavering commitment to student success with the release of his 11th book, “Before, During and After Examination.”
This timely and relevant publication is tailored specifically for primary and high school students, offering them practical guidance on how to navigate the often-overwhelming examination period with confidence and strategy.
The book is structured in three powerful segments:
– Before the examination: It guides learners on proper preparation techniques, effective study habits, time management and mental readiness.
– During the examination: It focuses on exam room strategies, reading and answering questions effectively, managing anxiety, and time allocation.
– After the examination: This section helps learners reflect, review performance and prepare emotionally and academically for results and future steps.
This new release adds to Dr Msongelwa’s impressive body of work, which includes six History textbooks currently used in Zimbabwean schools and four guidance and counselling books used across primary, secondary and tertiary institutions.
His writings have touched thousands of learners, offering both academic content and personal development insights.
Beyond writing, Dr Msongelwa hosts “The learning curve” on Star FM every Saturday, a radio program that continues to inspire, motivate and educate students across the nation. His passion for education is rooted in a belief that every learner has potential — they just need the right tools, guidance and encouragement.
“My passion for writing is motivated by the need to change and transform this generation. I am also inspired by the desire to make students overcome different challenges that they are facing academically and morally. My aim therefore is to provide a holistic guide to learners that touches beyond academic,” said Dr Msongelwa.
He added that the latest offering – Before, During and After Examination” is not just another study guide — it’s a lifeline for students, a reflection of his passion and a valuable companion for every learner aiming to succeed not only in exams but in life.
This book is available in selected bookstores and will soon be rolled out to schools nationwide.
