Acts from Zimbabwe and Eswatini will come together this Saturday for the launch of the Oasis Summer Festival in Gwabalanda, Bulawayo.

The event will be headlined by Eswatini’s Afro-pop sensation LK Baba, who will be making his debut performance in Zimbabwe. The artiste has been gaining recognition through his hit track Fakeleni Phoyiseni Ngife.

Zimbabwean talent will be strongly represented by Insimbi ZeZhwane, Dusty, and Mzoe 7, while the decks will be manned by DJ Mabosto and DJ Toxic.

DJ Mabosto said the festival aims to celebrate both the living and departed heroes of the “City of Kings and Queens”.
“The event marks a time to reflect on the future, with a stage setup featuring spectacular lights that will briefly illuminate photos of city legends on the screen, just before the fireworks kick off the festival.
“Several programmes have been lined up,” Mabosto said. – Follow on X: @mthabisi_mthire
