AFRO-FUSION outfit FaB Fusion has officially released its latest album, Zuva Rovira, a project that celebrates love, hope, family and Zimbabwe’s rich culture.

The group is also paying tribute to the late guitarist Nigel Wyngard.

Released last week, the album marks another milestone for the husband-and-wife duo, who have become known for their energetic live performances and Afro-fusion sound.

Speaking to Zimpapers Arts and Entertainment Hub, Brennan Wyngard said Zuva Rovira holds special meaning for the group as it features guitar work by his late father, Nigel Wyngard.

“The song is set to be the greatest hit for us,” said Brennan.

He said the album was recorded over different seasons of growth, travel and reflection, resulting in songs that explore themes of love, reunion, distance, hope and new beginnings.

Zuva Rovira, which means “When the Sun Sets”, also features collaborations with Doc Simple, Mannex Motsi, Solomon, Vanny, Graig, Joe Vas and the FaB Ovation Band.

The launch featured performances by M&M Dance Factory, adding colour and choreography to the occasion.

FaB Fusion has steadily built its name on Zimbabwe’s music scene through a blend of Afro-fusion rhythms, soulful vocals and storytelling inspired by everyday life.

The duo first attracted national attention with Treble, released during Easter 2024, before strengthening its growing fan base with Chimdhudhudhu, which spent more than 30 weeks on the Classic 263 Top 10 chart.

Away from the stage, FaB Fusion is also a family-centred musical act, with the couple sharing both the studio and the stage with their son, making family values a key part of their artistic identity.

With Zuva Rovira now available, FaB Fusion hopes the album will connect with audiences in Zimbabwe and beyond while continuing to promote local music through authentic Zimbabwean storytelling.
