A family in the Nyava area of Bindura is actively searching for a murder suspect, whom they accuse of killing their beloved family member.
Innocent Tinashe Mtepeya Hwata’s family is in distress following his tragic death at the hands of their prime suspect, Border Tatenda Muringayi.
The incident took place on January 1 at Nyava Growth Point in Bindura.
In an interview, the deceased’s brother, Stanley Hwata, confirmed that the family is determined to find the suspect. “We have no peace since my brother was stabbed by the suspect, who has been evading the law since the day of the crime. “They were at Nyava Growth Point when the incident occurred.
“My younger brother politely advised the suspect not to skid their car in front of many people, but in response, he was stabbed,” he said.
He expressed dismay that his brother was attacked for simply trying to prevent harm to others. “After stabbing him, the suspect licked the blood and even threatened those who were around. The police were informed of the incident and we are looking forward to his arrest. The police, wrote a report for our brother to access medical attention. “Unfortunately, my brother died before we could even get him to the hospital.”
Innocent was laid to rest on Saturday in Nyava Village. “Reports indicate that the suspect was seen in Shamva a few days ago, and a report was made before he went into hiding.
“He has been moving around with his brother, driving a Toyota Land Cruiser without number plates. “He has also been spotted again in the Mutandiri area of Bindura. Each time he is seen, the police are informed, but he is yet to be apprehended and continues to evade capture.
“The most current information suggests that he is in the Mutandiri Village, Manhenga area.
“The case has been reported at the Nyava police station, and we are appealing for anyone with information to step forward. “We want justice for our brother. No one should be allowed to go around killing others.”
