FLOPPY Flaws is back, and this time he’s not just dropping a track, he’s launching a whole new genre.
The fast-rising Bulawayo-born, Harare-based artist is set to shake up the local music scene with his upcoming single titled iLongdistance, featuring rapper Tinzoe DS and produced by Maask Djyc. The track is expected to land by the end of June.

But what’s got everyone buzzing is Floppy Flaws’ bold move: the birth of a brand-new genre called Kasibeats, a fusion of modern vibes and nostalgic rhythms designed to strike a chord with the heart.
Speaking exclusively about the track, the Egoli hitmaker said, “iLongdistance serves as a vibrant introduction to the Kasibeats genre. It explores the theme of reassurance in a long-distance relationship.”

The single tells the story of a young man who leaves Bulawayo for the rural areas to hustle, facing daily struggles but keeping his love alive across the miles. His promise to his partner? Distance won’t break what they’ve built.
“It’s a message of hope and loyalty,” said Floppy. “Even when you’re far apart, if the love is real, it will survive. The track is really for all the lovers out there who need that extra reassurance.”

With Valentine’s Day vibes still echoing in the hearts of many, iLongdistance arrives as a timely anthem for couples holding it down through the hard times.
Floppy Flaws’ musical gamble might just pay off and if Kasibeats takes off, we could be witnessing the birth of the next big wave in Zimbabwean music.
