A 91-YEAR-OLD woman turned up in a school uniform at the birthday celebrations of Madzibaba Moses Gwasarira at the Zimbabwe Grounds in Highfield.
Gogo Violet Meki turned into the star of the show with her choice of dress.
She walked to the top table, called out to the director of ceremonies and, with a twinkle in her eye, expressed her wish to present her birthday gift.
Gogo Violet handed Madzibaba Moses, a religious leader, a US$10 gift and even whispered a congratulatory message in his ear.
Madzibaba Moses knelt beside her, giving thanks with a smile.
