Gogo Skhotheni makes her acting debut

South African media personality and traditional healer Gogo Skhotheni has stepped into a brand-new chapter of her career, and she could not be happier.

The well-known sangoma and DJ, whose real name is Tumi Motsoeneng, recently made her acting debut in the new Mzansi Bioskop drama series Puseletso.

In the show, she plays the role of Sister Rachel, a strict but inspiring choir instructor. For Gogo Skhotheni, this moment marks the beginning of a dream she has been carrying for years. Taking to Instagram, she shared her excitement and gratitude for finally stepping into the world of acting.

She wrote: “My heart is full. Today, I stepped into my very first acting role as Sister Racheal. A dream I’ve carried quietly has finally come to life. Forever grateful for this opportunity, the team, and the journey ahead. Ngiyabonga.”
