GOSPEL ARTIST TO DROP FORTH STUDIO ALBUM

GOSPEL artist, Exaviour Marungisa, is set to release his fourth studio album later this month.

Titled “That I May Know Him” (Kuti Ndimuziye Iye) the-nine track compilation carries tracks like ‘Vana Vangu’, ‘I Know Him’, ‘Jesu Arikuuya’, ‘Uchapabuda’, ‘Jehovah’ and ‘Zvinoperera KwaJesu,’ among others.

“I got inspiration to do this album from the bible scriptures of Philippians 3 vs 10.

“I am emphasising the point that we should take time to know and understand Jesus Christ as He is the way and the light.

“It’s not just enough to sing and pray but without true understanding of who we are worshipping and praying to.

“I do feel that the Christian world has lost that essence and this album is a reminder for us to seek more knowledge and understanding of Christ,” said Marungisa.

He described his musical journey as tough but is glad that God always sees him through.

“The life of an upcoming artist is quite tough.

“There are too many challenges and hurdles but I want to thank God for always making a way and giving me the strength and courage to overcome

“To all my fans, thank you for always supporting me.”

Marungisa, a deacon with the Covenant Faith Ministries church, has other albums like ‘Ndichawa Iye Wandichava’, ‘In Gethsemane’ and ‘Hamani Pamatanda Ake,’ to his name.
