RISING Afrobeats sensation Mark Geezo, real name Regis Mandangu, has set the stage ablaze with his brand-new single Hemeni, a soulful mix of amapiano vibes and Limpopo’s signature Lenkompo sound.
The 3-minute 34-second track, inspired by Psalm 23:4, is a bold declaration of faith and resilience.

“Even in the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for God is with me,” said Geezo. “This is a very personal song because I have faced a lot, but God’s favor always came through for me.”
Recorded in Musina, South Africa, the track was engineered by Hdk, while Geezo himself crafted the infectious beat. The result is a sound that balances spiritual depth with club-ready energy.

“This was my first time experimenting with this type of sound, and honestly, I won,” Geezo said with a smile. “The response on TikTok and YouTube has been overwhelming. It opened new doors for me in South Africa, with artists and producers now reaching out for collaborations.”
Just eight days after its release, Hemeni has already racked up 3.1K YouTube views and is gaining traction on TikTok, iTunes and Spotify.

The chorus carries a powerful declaration: “Handina chandokwata, Hemeni. Ndinotemba naro denga, Hemeni,” meaning, “There is nothing I fear. I trust Heaven.”
Geezo says Hemeni is a testament to survival and self-belief, wrapped in a rhythm that moves bodies and souls alike.

His ultimate goal is to join the ranks of African powerhouses like Master KG, DJ Hurrican and Makhadzi.
“My vision is to be recognized as a versatile Afrobeats artist who can stand shoulder to shoulder with the continent’s best,” he declared.

The single builds on the success of his earlier hits Liar and Gunvosta, the latter featuring Qounfuzed and amassing nearly half a million streams.
With Hemeni, Mark Geezo is cementing his rise as one of Africa’s most promising crossover stars.
